File > Search Path

Use this dialog box to set the directories in which TotalView will search for executable and source files. You can type a directory name within the text edit box and you can use the Insert button to graphically move through your system's file system to select a directory to be inserted.

TotalView searches for source files, in the following order:

1. If the executable file for the program was specified as an absolute path name, TotalView search the directory containing the executable first.
2. If you specify a list of search directories, TotalView searches through them in the order in which they appear in your list.
3. If the source file is still not found, TotalView searches the directories named in your PATH environment variable.

Note:   The search path is local to the machine upon which TotalView is running. TotalView does not search for files on remote hosts.
