Archiving Using PFTP

HPSS pftp requires one of two authentication methods:

• Kerberos (syntax is "hpss_pftp -A kerberos")
• gsi (syntax is "hpss_pftp -A gsi")

pftp with Kerberos authentication currently runs on the following machines within RCF:

• rcrsX
• rcasX
• rftpexpX
• rphcatX
• acasX
• aftpexpX
• stargridX

To run pftp with gsi authentication, the machine should have the globus environment.
