This page allows one to monitor the Central Analysis Server (CAS) nodes in the Linux Farm. There is also a link to the Linux Farm Web page that contains information about the Linux Farm hardware . Normally, users can login and submit analysis jobs interactively or via batch (LSF or Condor) to the CAS nodes belonging to their corresponding experiment. Batch (LSF or Condor) is the preferred method for submitting analysis jobs, since it provides a means to control and spread the load among the CAS nodes. Too many interactive analysis jobs on a single node can lead to system overload and crash, with the corresponding loss of the analysis jobs. CAS Operational StatusThe Farm Alert list contains color-coded information on the status of nodes nodes and related services. Authentication is required. This list is automatically every 5 minutes. CAS Historical InformationPlots containing CAS historical information (load, CPU usage, etc) can be found in our ganglia page. Authentication is required.
