RCF Related Mailing Lists

There are several RCF related mailing lists. As a user of RCF computers, you SHOULD be a member of the rhic-rcf-l mailing list. Notices concerning shutdowns and improvements in the resources available to you are broadcast through this list. You will NOT be drowned in email; this is not a high volume mailing list.

As of Oct. 17, 2001, a new user is automatically subscribed to this list when her/his account is created, pending the user's following the instructions in an email from the mailing list.

rhic-software-l

Email messages concerning general software development at RHIC.

rhic-procurement-l

Exchange of information regarding hardware evaluation (servers, storage, network equipment).
